About 30 years ago, when you saw people who had a different appearance, you would be frightened. Now in the 21st century, it is common to experience people from different cultures. Especially, in Seoul, the capital of Korea, where it has become a multicultural city with people from all parts of the world successfully working and living together. Now, many Korean cities are also becoming multicultural due to the influence from Seoul. Therefore, more and more people who are from other parts of world are settling down in Korea. Due to this change in our culture, families and couples are experiencing new relationships and new ways of communication. So, people are changing their notion about people who are from different country.
 Additionally, Korean culture has various influences from other countries. For example, there is a bar in Shin-dong that has a non-smoking rule, which is the law in public places in most western countries. Now, when you walk the street of Iksan, you can see western influences all around you with the clothes people wear. Also, more and more people can try different kinds of cuisines without traveling too far from your home.
 On the other hand, floods of Korean companies are becoming globalized. So wherever you go, you can see big Korean company brands such as Samsung. Korea has now become a leading contributor in a growing technology world with products like smart phones. Famous Korean celebrate PSY has had huge global success with his song 'gangnam style'. This song is the most viewed song in the history of you tube. This song's funny lyrics and dance help him become one of the successful and popular celebrates of 2012.
 Over the last 25 years, Korea has been a hugely successful country in its contribution to sports. In 1988, Seoul was the home to the Olympic Games. Then, in 2002, Korea co-hosted the World Cup. The Olympic Games and World Cup are the two biggest sporting events in the world. These two events helped Korea to become recognized outside of Asia and went a long way in improving our economy grow to compete with the rest of the world.
 Korean should try to embrace the 21st century and the changes that come with living in a multicultural society. We should enjoy the opportunities we have been given to experience those different to us.
